Position Description:

Hello! We have a position open for an experienced, responsible, and friendly nursery care provider to ensure fun and safety in our congregation’s nursery classroom on Sunday mornings!

POSITION
Our nursery room serves infants, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten age children. Basic hours are Sunday mornings, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, September – June. The classroom is open while adults are in morning worship.

The nursery care provider works with our nursery volunteers to provide safe, enriching care and programming for our young ones. Compensation is hourly: $20 per hour for ten months, September - June.

The position includes one Sunday off per month, to be agreed upon with the Supervisor. Occasionally, our congregation will hold special events. Depending on your availability, there may be a possibility of providing additional child care for these occasions. Such hours would be compensated at $20 per hour. This position is a good fit for students and/or a creative, caring and experienced individual looking for a bit of extra income.

Successful applicants at least 18 years of age bring a combination of early childhood education experience and impeccable references.  Please bring a professional, friendly, and easy-going orientation to working with little ones, parents, and our volunteers. You must be willing to pass a background check. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
