Elementary Childhood Coordinator

UU Marin is currently seeking someone to fill our Elementary Childhood Coordinator position to work primarily with children kindergarten to 2nd grade. Under supervision of the Director of Family Ministries, the Elementary Childhood Coordinator at UUCM works on a team that supports children from infancy up to 18 years old. Together the team works with children in programs that foster and promote Unitarian Universalist values, spiritual growth, environmental and social justice, lifelong friendships, and community engagement. The Elementary Childhood Coordinator is primarily responsible for the implementation of a religious exploration program for and with children kindergarten to 2nd grade, and one occasion with children up to sixth grade. This is a part-time non-benefits position with 5 weeks paid administrative leave. The expected hours are 4 hours on Sundays, 2 – 4 hours at monthly family events, and 8 hours at the congregational retreat. Dragon Master for Tabletop Roleplaying

UUCM is looking for folks with experience in tabletop role playing to assist our “D&D” program for kids. Under supervision of the Director of Family Ministries, a “Dragon Master” at UUCM works on a team that provides a tabletop roleplaying groups in coordination with our Sunday morning children’s programming on the 1st and third Sundays of the month. If you or someone you know have:

  • A sense of humor and capacity for joy and play
  • Knowledge of “D&D” and or other world building tabletop role playing adventures
  • Enjoy working with elementary and middle school age children

This is a part-time non-benefits position. The expected hours are 2-3 hours on Sunday mornings. The start date is an agreed upon date in September or October 2023 and runs to June 9, 2024.
