The Year of the Pig starts in February, and we’ll be celebrating with Chinese New Year traditions, entertainment, and great food. We’ll be joined by Lion Dancers from San Francisco to kick off the celebration.
The New Year’s Eve dinner is called ‘reunion dinner’, and is believed to be the most important meal of the year. We’ll have a festive Chinese buffet dinner, and you’ll have the opportunity buy raffle tickets for Chinese dinners, a Vietnamese dinner, haircuts (a New Year tradition), car washes, and more.
In addition, we will auction off a 3 night stay in San Francisco for the weekend of the Chinese New Year Parade and festive street fair. Accommodations include a three-bedroom suite for a family, friends, or up to three couples to share starting February 22, 2019. The parade is the evening of February 23, and the hotel is located less than a ½ mile from the parade route.
