Most would agree that our modern society is still figuring out what it means to be an elder today.  With a proliferation of life paths and lifestyles, bridging generational space feels simultaneously urgent and difficult.  On this Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday, we will explore MLK’s relationship with one of his prominent mentors and elders, Howard Thurman, as we hold the question: what does it mean to be an elder today?
