From the Taoist tradition comes a wisdom tale of a Farmer that meets all of life’s ups and downs with a simple response: Who’s to say, what is truly good and truly bad.  In a time when multiple levels of society urge us to take sides for one cause or another, we collectively hold those oppositional energies inside ourselves; often, they occupy precious resources in our bodies, hearts and minds.  How might it serve us, and the world today, to live into the equanimity of non-judgment the Farmer represents?
