Some wounds are simple to treat. A band-aid for a child’s scraped knee, a cast for a broken arm, rest for sprained ankle. Other wounds are not so easily cared for. This week, many of us are taking stock of our country’s wounds and trying to imagine what it will take for us to heal. What do our fears and our confusion, our anger and our sorrow, our exhaustion and our pain tell us about how to heal our collective wound?
