As a child, I attended All Soul’s Unitarian Church in Washington D.C. for Sunday School, but left at age ten and only began attending again once my children had grown. At that time, I felt disconnected from any kind of community.  

UU Marin has provided me with a place to be part of a larger group with whom I share values, where all views are accepted, and where I’m reminded of how to put compassion and patience into action.
