The Social Justice Committee of UUCM represented us at the July 12, 2019 Lights for Liberty event at Novato City Hall in support of immigrants.
Lights for Liberty is a national social justice organization demonstrating in locations across the country in support of ending the mistreatment of refugees.
From the Lights for Liberty website: “We will stand in solidarity with people throughout the nation and the world to take part in Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps. We will join with hundreds of thousands of people at concentration camps and other significant sites, in the streets and in our own front yards, to expose and protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.”
To join the Social Justice Committee in future actions, see their page on this site, or contact Linda Haumann.
