Embrace the Winter Solstice with Light and Joy
Friday, December 20th, 5:00 pm Fellowship Hall
Dear Beloved Community,
As the longest night of the year approaches, we invite you to join us in a magical celebration of the Winter Solstice on Friday, December 20th, at 5 pm. Gather with us at UU Marin as we honor the turning of the wheel, embracing the rebirth of the sun with warmth, light, and community spirit.
✨ Event Highlights:
Enchanted Solstice Service: Immerse yourself in beautiful traditions and the heartfelt rituals of this sacred astronomical event.
Community Potluck: Share with us in a delightful meal. Please bring a dish to add to our communal table, and let’s celebrate abundance together! You can sign in your dish here – Potluck Sign Up or by texting 415-480-9532 with your name and the name of the dish you plan to bring.
Creative Activities for Youth and Young at Heart: Engaging activities designed to inspire wonder and creativity will make this a memorable night for all ages.
Candles & Sacred Offerings: Make a candle wish, pull a tarot card for the new year, and join in as we embrace the magical energy of Solstice.
Come, let us kindle the flames of hope and joy as we step into the ever-growing light of a new season. Bring your loved ones, your joyful spirit, and a willingness to embrace the mystery and magic of this turning point in the year.
May the warmth of community and the power of Solstice illuminate your path this winter.
