If The Fates Allow

There is the world as it is and the world as we wish it to be. The chasm between often seems insurmountable. But the holiday season is when myriad traditions celebrate joy, siblinghood, hope, and resilience in the midst of the darkest, coldest days of the year. There is an elusive ephemeral feeling, an opening in our spirit when we get to see and make manifest the world as we know it could and should be, despite all of the hardships. This Sunday, let us come together and celebrate that Divine glimpse, that slight opening of loving possibility, and let it guide us though the season ahead, come what may.
