UU Marin is currently seeking someone to fill our Elementary Childhood Coordinator position to work primarily with children kindergarten to 2nd grade. Under supervision of the Director of Family Ministries, the Elementary Childhood Coordinator at UU Marin works on a team that supports children from infancy up to 18 years old. Together the team works with children in programs that foster and promote Unitarian Universalist values, spiritual growth, environmental and social justice, lifelong friendships, and community engagement. The Elementary Childhood Coordinator is primarily responsible for the implementation of a religious exploration program for and with children kindergarten to 2nd grade, and on occasion with children up to sixth grade. This is a part-time non-benefits position with 5 weeks paid administrative leave. The expected hours are 4 hours on Sundays, 2 – 4 hours at monthly family events, and 8 hours at the congregational retreat. The start date is an agreed upon date in either August or September 2023 and runs to June 9, 2024.
