Born Into, Chosen By, Called To

Jigsaw puzzle being assembled with each hand supplying a critical piece.

The theme for our worship in July is “Community.” All of us are members of communities of different kinds. Some we are born into—our families, our cultures. Some we choose—the circle of the friends we choose (and who choose us). Some we are called to—communities united by a sense of purpose or mission. In this service we will explore some of the blessings and the real challenges that being part of these communities bring us.

The Rev. Tom Traylor is an Episcopal priest, retired hospice chaplain, and a longtime friend of the UU Marin congregation. Tom is fortunate to share his life with UU Marin pianist Milton Wong.
