This month we embark on “Widening the Circle,” and ask ourselves, “What one step can I take to be more inclusive?”
Angel Kyodo Williams, a black women sensei in the Zen tradition has said, “It’s the community’s job to figure out how we can stretch into the so-called margins to broaden our understanding and the ability to be inclusive. Inclusivity is not ‘how do we make you a part of what we are?’ but ‘how do we become more of what you are?’ Perhaps we start to be more inclusive with listening and understanding the connection we have with others.
Join us along with worship leader Rev. Lynne Scarpa in person in Fellowship Hall or by Zoom as we strive to widen the circle.
