April’s worship theme is “Tradition.” We all carry with us beliefs and customs passed down from generation to generation. Unitarian Universalism, with its rich history and its openness to new revelation, is simultaneously traditional and ultra modern. Let’s spend this month taking stock of what we carry with us from the past, and what we must create anew in the future.
At UU Marin we come together to inspire joy and justice in an imperfect world. That is a radical mission! Calling us to imagine new ways of social organizing and inviting us i to an alternate economy. We have the opportunity in our church to break down the barriers of zero sum thinking and scarcity mindset. When we work collaboratively and pool our collective resources, we can realize the abundance of our faith, transforming ourselves and our society.
