April’s worship theme is “Tradition.” We all carry with us beliefs and customs passed down from generation to generation. Unitarian Universalism, with its rich history and its openness to new revelation, is simultaneously traditional and ultra modern. Let’s spend this month taking stock of what we carry with us from the past, and what we must create anew in the future.
Religion has been one of the most important human experiences since we developed conscious thought. From religion we derive most of our traditions, for better or worse. As humanity has changed over millennia, so too has our religious expression. This Sunday, let’s dive into the perpetual and the impermanent of our religion.
