Our language, ideas and choices about gender have rapidly changed in some sections of our society over the past decade or two. So fast that even those who want to keep up sometimes have a hard time staying current, and those who don’t like the new ways are doubling down on gender as a battleground for fighting a culture war. I’ll share some of my own experience of gender, and some reflections on the cultural changes afoot.
