This Sunday, we gather between holy days— between Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, and what has come to be known as Indigenous People’s Day.

The circle of belonging is broken time and time again, from the smallest circle of our own lives and families to our wider communities and world at large. Though the journeys are different, victims and perpetrators, all who are caught up in cycles of violence long to return to a circle of safety and belonging. How do we make these journeys for ourselves, and help others on their way?
