This morning we celebrate the rich meanings of Sukkot and explore connections between joy and harvest!

Is “joy” a teacher? How can we engage more deeply with the earth and to the blessings of our lives through the theme of harvest? Rev. Dara, a life-long UU of Jewish heritage, honors the Jewish festival of Sukkot with us today.

Rev. Dara Olandt

Rev. Dara Olandt lives in Petaluma and has served UU congregations from Santa Rosa and Petaluma to Virginia and Colorado. She was delighted to serve long ago at the UU Congregation of Marin, supporting religious education, and she is pleased to come back to visit! Dara is a life-long Jewish UU and the mother of two young children. She was the Multi-Religious Chaplain / Director of Spiritual and Religious Life at Mills College in Oakland for five years, and, most recently, served as minister of the Unitarian Universalists of Petaluma. Now she is raising her kiddos, writing, and seeing people for 1:1 individual spiritual direction.
