As we face month after month of devastation, violence, hatred and bigotry in America and on the world stage, so many of us are asking ourselves, “What do I do?”. Join guest preacher and Youth Advisor Charlotte Cramer for an honest exploration of what it means to find healing in this broken world and why this is one of the most radical forms of social justice we can participate in. This will be the first sermon of five exploring American cultural disconnection and the ways in which we can rebuild the heart of our society through personal transformation.

Charlotte Cramer is currently in her third and final year at Starr King School for the Ministry. She is currently attending The Chaplaincy Institute for her Chaplaincy certification and ordination as an Interfaith Minister, and is also seeking ordination with the Sacred Wells Congregation, a pagan religious institution. Charlotte grew up Unitarian Universalist, and has wanted to be a minister since the age of 16. She has spent the past four years living in spiritual communities in California and Costa Rica, learning about different forms of mysticism, ritual, and divine connection. Charlotte currently serves on the Family Ministry team at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin, and is an intern for The Street Chaplaincy, an interfaith program in San Rafael that provides spiritual care and support for the homeless population of Marin. In her free time, Charlotte practices Jiu Jitsu, yoga and meditation, and spends time at her beautiful home in Point Reyes Station, CA, where she lives with two dogs and two dear friends.
