Join us for Lifespan Religious Exploration
We provide children, youth, young adults, and adults an opportunity to explore, reflect, and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. Unitarian Universalist Religious Education programs offer all ages:
- Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.
- Social growth – connecting with peers and people of all ages on a deeper level. Finding acceptance among people who see beyond the superficial.
- Spiritual growth – feeling a connection with the sacred within, among, and beyond us.
Religious exploration programs include more than classes. All our children and youth programs incorporate Unitarian Universalist principles, exploration of values, community building, social justice activities, service projects, celebrations from various of faith traditions, worship opportunities, and fun. On a Sunday online you might find the preschoolers singing songs about kindness, the 2nd graders engaging with a story about forgiveness, the 8th graders engaging in discussion of other faiths to strengthen their own spiritual path, and the high-school youth raising money for a local program to break the cycle of homelessness.
We invite you to listen to our Childhood and Youth Coordinators’ introduction to themselves and our program.
